Permanent Pacemaker Interrogation
If you have a permanent pacemaker or ICD we can check its function and the recent activity of the conduction of the heart by placing a wand over the device. We begin by testing the remaining battery life to determine how long the battery will last. We test the lead function and ensure that they conduct electricity both to and from the heart. We can change the programmed parameters to suit the heart’s needs. We can also detect whether the heart was beating too fast or too slow.
